My name is Patty, roaster and owner of JJ Romer Coffee Roasters.  

I’ve always had a deep love for coffee. It goes all the way back to Saturday mornings with my mom Joan, aunt Jean, and grandfather Harry Romer. Together, we sipped away dozens of hours through chit chat and coffee. Donuts, too. Those memories are so meaningful because they were a time of gathering and conversation. That’s what a good cup of coffee means to me: connection and craft, slow and steady.

 

One day, I picked up a little home roaster—why not try? After years of exploring new flavors and different beans from around the world, my personal joy for coffee has come full-circle. Today, you can find my passion back at the kitchen table.
