Strictly Hard Beans (SHB) is coffee grown at an altitude above (apx) 4,000ft. Beans that grow at high altitudes mature more slowly and are harder and denser than beans grown at lower elevations. The slower growth makes the beans more consistent in flavor, thus making them more desirable.
